Reliable rail infrastructure keeps regional economies moving and communities connected. This is especially true along corridors serving both freight and passenger rail. Collaborating with BNSF Railway, TKDA extended the Lead Track between the Ono Yard and San Bernardino Intermodal Facility. As a result of this project, outbound trains can now be assembled and staged away from mainlines, directly reducing rail corridor congestion and minimizing delays. Ultimately, businesses and travelers who use this corridor experience more reliable service and fewer disruptions. This infrastructure investment improves rail operations, creates smoother traffic flow, and supports the long-term economic health of the region.
